Call for applications for appointment as regulatory examination content writers for Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia

The National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (the National Scheme) regulates more than 960,000 registered health practitioners and over 180,000 registered students across 16 health professions.

Applications are sought from experienced practitioners, academics and experienced registered medical radiation practitioners for appointment as regulatory examination content writers to the National Exam Review working group (Working Group) to assist the Board with its primary role of protecting the public.

The role of the National Exam Review working group

  • review and assess exam questions for content validity and contemporary
  • revise or develop questions and / or provide advice for exam question modification
  • assess exam question alignment with Professional capabilities for medical radiation practice
  • providing professional practice input and insights

The successful applicants will require a good understanding of the Professional capabilities for medical radiation practice, Code of Conduct and other registration standards, guidelines and policies

Applications will be assessed by a selection advisory panel and the appointment will be made by the National Exam Committee. The Board aims to have the review process completed by 30 June 2027.
