Are you passionate about healthcare and public safety?
The National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (the National Scheme) exists to ensure the public receives safe healthcare by registering health practitioners who are suitably qualified and safe to practise. Public protection is the paramount objective in the National Scheme and appointing individuals with the attributes and capability that drive effective regulatory decision making is fundamental to fulfilling this purpose.
There are community member vacancies on the Tasmanian Boards of the Nursing and Midwifery and Medical Boards of Australia
Our community members are key to making decisions that put community and public safety first. They are active and engaged health consumers with lived experience and strong community connections who can represent the needs, perspectives and expectations of the community.
