Appointment to the Advisory Panel – Dental Specialist review

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to regulate more than 960,000 registered health practitioners and over 180,000 registered students across 16 health professions.

Applications are sought from registered dental specialists for appointment to the Advisory Panel – Specialist review (Advisory Panel).

The Advisory Panel is established by the Ahpra to support the Dental Board of Australia’s (the Board) review of its:

• specialist registration standard and list of recognised specialties, related specialist titles and definitions (list of specialties), and
• the Board’s consideration of options for examination or assessment under section 58(c) to commence in 2025-2026 (the reviews).

Applications will be assessed by a selection advisory panel and appointments will be for a three-year term, with eligibility for reappointment.
