The Examination Committee will also make recommendations to the Board related to the operation of the examinations.

Applications are sought from applicants who have one or more of the following:

Applicants who are Chinese medicine practitioners must also:

  2. hold a minimum of a Bachelor level degree from a recognised higher education institution.

Applications will be assessed by a selection advisory panel and appointments may be for up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment.

More information about the role, eligibility requirements and the application process can be found in the Terms of Reference and Information guide.

The National Registration and Accreditation Scheme has an important role in ensuring the health workforce is culturally safe, respectful and responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples' needs and promotes the elimination of racism in health care.

To help achieve this, we have committed to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander leadership and voices on the Board and committees and warmly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to apply.
