Help protect the public and set national standards for registered health practitioners

National Boards regulate Australia’s 920,000 registered health practitioners and 180,000 registered students across 16 health professions. These Boards consist of community members and practitioner members (who are registered in the relevant profession) and set the professional standards practitioners must meet to be registered.

Applications are now open for 3 community member vacancies on the following National Boards:

  • Osteopathy
  • Optometry, and
  • Pharmacy.

The National Scheme has an important role in ensuring the development of a culturally safe and respectful health workforce that is

If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and would like to talk about these opportunities, please email mobvoices@ahpra.gov.au.
